3 stars. Comedian Natasha Leggero gives the reader an hilarious look at her decision to use IVF to have a ‘geriatric’ pregnancy at age 42. The first half of the book is great-funny, raw, ribald, and honest about becoming a parent and then actually parenting a child during the global pandemic. Leggero hits all the right notes on the struggles and it was laugh-out-loud funny. I didn’t care for the second half of the book as it descended from the comedic high to the awkward low of running out of material and trying too hard to sustain the premise. Out in paperback May 2023.
