Space horror with a wormhole twist. Cammie is a great character–I liked her and enjoyed the journey with her. My problem with the book is that Anderson can get a little preachy/metaphysical and that got old. I get it but don’t keep hitting me over the head with it. You will understand that after you wade through those parts! He did the same thing in his Star Wars books–I give them all 10/10 because they were SOOOOO GOOD, but for me I like a miniscule amount of naval gazing and the oneness of the universe etc. But, for Nether Station, the storytelling is so awesome I just skipped what I needed to and enjoyed the rest of it; overall, a really good book and especially when I read it in October near Halloween-super spooky & scary. I was given a copy to read/share my thoughts and if you like scary stuff and don’t mind skipping over some of the ‘deep thoughts’–you will enjoy the ride. 3 stars
