Engrossing! Well-done tales of historical true crime focusing on the Appalachian region. I enjoyed the details and research. The book covers almost 200 years and takes the reader on a journey through crimes ranging from robbery to cold-blooded murder. The authors are clearly fans of the topic and it shows. I like to read books where the writer is excited to tell their story-it makes the book that much better. The way they set up the chapters makes it easy to pick it up when you need something shorter to read. If you are a fan of the true crime shows and podcasts, I highly recommend you grab a copy of Blood on the Blue Ridge. The Sources section is awesome and gives the reader even more options to read and do their own research. I was given a copy to read and share my thoughts.
