Excellent entry in a fun cozy mystery series. In this one, Ricki meets up with some drama from her past. The Bon Vee cast of characters prepare for Halloween with a Bon VEEEVIL haunted house. Get it? Bon VEE EVIL? Their neighbors, however, are rude and obnoxious and, uh oh, MURDERED! What secrets about Ricki was the victim hiding? And how does it all connect to Bon Vee and the death of Ricki’s husband…or was there something else going on? As the Bon Vee team gets to work solving the mystery, Ricki may unlock something about her family history. The plot moved right along and kept my attention. Fans of the series will enjoy meeting up with the characters again and newbies will have no trouble following along. I was given a copy-this is my own opinion.
